36 Days of Type is a yearly project that invites designers, illustrators, and visual artists to express their unique interpretation of the letters and numbers of the Latin alphabet.
For this type set, I drew inspiration from Art Noveau and 70s psychedelic typography—particularly Gustavo Eandi’s type work, the timeless album artworks he created for Lorde’s Solar Power album.
The retro typographic forms were then rendered in futuristic holographic metals to create contemporary and unique visuals. I used tools such as Blender and Adobe Dimension to achieve this effect.
